one night no special than any other i found myself at my friends house enjoying the company of good friends when i decided i needed some air. it was a nice night and the rather chilly air greeted me with a welcome. while standing there i got the feeling i wasnt alone when i noticed my buddy gripping on to the ground looking as if he thought that if he let go the earth might spin too fast and he would fly straight off into space. i walked over to him and asked him if he would be alright trying hard to stiffle the little laugh i could feel rising. a few moments later he responded with a rather comical response, which i will translate it into clear english as he said it slightly slurred and slightly muffled by earth. To me he parted these words of wisdom:
"you know youre drunk when you have to hold on to the lawn to keep from falling off the earth"
with that i went back inside to let him continue his struggle against the earths rotation and rejoined the group. we all had a good laugh about that then but when we woke up and found he had fallen asleep gripping that grass with near white knuckle intensity...that was the best part of all.
so heres a salute to my friend and all the many days hes fought against the earth and as today is saturday im sure the war will continue once again.
have a great weekend folks.
oh yea and no photoshop...just a lot...lot...of trys....
it took so many tries to get that shoe to fly like that...always missed the timing by just a bit....sigh

The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."
youd be amazed how hard it was to do this by myself...the timing was....difficult
and making my clothes defy gravity was a fun bit too hahahah
